The Sleeping Giant Park Association began in 1924 with a few members dedicated to the idea of saving the Giant from development and turning it into a state park. Today almost 2,000 members help preserve the park. Our strong membership has helped stop plans for a pipeline through the park, a television broadcast tower in the park, logging in the park and even park closure! Members also maintain the trails, lead hikes and help educate the public about the natural wonders found on the Giant. The generosity of our members and friends of the park allow us to continue to add land to the park.

If you would like to help support these activities please become a member of the SGPA. It only costs $10.00 a year for a single membership, or $20.00 for a family. As a member you will also receive our newsletter, Giant News, and will be eligible to obtain your Giant Master certification.

Please print the SGPA Membership Form, fill it out and mail it to our address with your dues payment.

Memberships may also be gifted to friends or family!

We are working to update our online membership site as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, and please continue to use the form linked above in the meantime.
