Guided Hikes

Take a hike…with Sleeping Giant Park Association!

SGPA leads over a dozen guided hikes annually. Past hikes have included winter tree identification, spring birding, insect life, and geology. SGPA also offers introductory hikes, meditative hikes (shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing), and holiday hikes.

For information about upcoming hikes, please visit our program calendar.

All hikes are free and open to the public, and require advanced registration unless otherwise noted.

Some hikes involve traversing uneven terrain and may include rock scrambling. As such, hikers should be in good physical condition, dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable, supportive shoes with good traction.

A day pack with snacks, water, sunscreen and any other essentials is recommended. Out of consideration for other participants, dogs are not permitted on SGPA hikes.
